Gathee wa Njeri is a popular Kikuyu mugithi artist.Gathee has earned favour among the kikuyus due to his fine music which has attracted great following.
Gathee Wa Njeri went to Kimathi Secondary school,a mixed day school in Gaturi in Murang'a County.Gathee scored an A in KCSE.A grade that has not been achieved earlier or and has not been broken.
Gathee Wa Njeri joined Kenyatta University for a bachelors degree in agribusiness management and trade . The last born in a family of five started playing guitar when he was in form two.
However,he sang and raised school fees through entertaining fans in pubs in Nairobi. His singing career has since grown and he is releasing albums one after the other.
Gathee has however attracted lots of followers and publicly adores his fans. He also confesses that his music is paying well .He has also gone back to school and is pursuing a masters degree
