Legendary Tv anchor Catherine kasavuli Joins The New revamped KBC Channel 1

Catherine Kasavuli has been a household name that has warmed the hearts of TV viewers over the years with her poised excellent diction and ready smile.

With a career spanning almost 3 decades in the media industry, she has defied age and looks young year after year.

She managed to keep views glued with her stunning looks and implacable style.

Kasavuli has been off the air for almost 7 years after she retired from citizen television and joined the cooperate side.

Catherine Kasavuli made an appearance on-screen back at a time when the country had only one broadcasting station, the state-run Voice of Kenya (VOK).

She was also part of the team that took KTN on air for the first time in March 1990 making it the first privately owned broadcasting that operated 24 hours.

She was instrumental in changing the station from a pre-recorded format to a live broadcast and was the first anchor to host a live broadcast at the station.

Kasavuli has joined the cast of the newly revamped KBC channel 1 alongside other veteran anchors coming out of retirement.

KBC presented a line-up of legends lead by Catherine Kasavuli, Fayyaz Qureishi, Badi Muhsin, Pauline Seghu and Tom Mboya.

The new look is expected to be availed today.
