Residents of Vihiga county are in a sombre mood after a reknown and loved nurse died . Esther Butse Khayundi was a nurse at Ebusyubi health centre in Luanda subcounty of Vihiga county. The cause of her death has not be well known but another source revealed that she collapsed and died.
Esther Khayundi's husband has penned an emotional message concerning death of his wife. Martin Opeko explained that the death of Esther was abrupt. She has left Martin with two little boys. He requested Kenyans to keep them in prayers.

It is really heartbreaking to lose a wife, a mother, a loving nurse and a committed worker. May God give strength to the bereaved friends, family and Vihiga county.
