We have seen many gospel artists in Kenya drifting to secular music. The number of known gospel artists has decreased rapidly and left musicians like Guardian Angel and others.
Ringtone Apoko has been known as a gospel artist who has been criticising those musicians who ran away from the gospel. But recently, he has caused mixed reactions among people after announcing that he's quitting gospel and moving to love songs. I don't know what prompted him, but he said goodbye to gospel music. Tuko News which posted this went ahead and asked this question in the comment section. 'Should Embarambamba assume the throne immediately?'Embarambamba also has some gospel songs which he has a very unique way of doing them. Many people love him because of what he does while others hate him since they see all that as nonsense. What do you think? Should he take over as the king of gospel music? Here are people's comments.
But, talking about Ringtone, do you think he's quitting gospel music or is it just clout chasing? Share your thoughts below.
