Francis Atwoli is a trade unionist who is currently serving as the secretary-general of the Trade unions. He has served in that capacity since he was first elected in 2001.
His children have the best life can offer. The daughter with his estranged wife, Roselinder Simiyu, studied aviation course in South Africa at the cost of Ksh 22 million and now works for the local airline as a pilot, while the last born son studied at the International School at Kitengela.
Rosalinda the 2nd wife who is an unsuccessful aspirant for the Webuye West Parliamentary seat in the 2017 general election, made rafty of allegations against Atwoli including failing to pay school fees for their children and providing for the family.
The two separated on mutual grounds a few years ago since they could not agree on her political ambitions to become an MP which, according to family sources, Atwoli was strongly against.
