Jane Ngoiri is known by many as she has been in the media for more than a decade now. She was born and raised in Nairobi to a Kikuyu dad and a Taita mother, she has two siblings, a brother by the name Eric Ng’ang’a Ngada and a sister by the name Mary Niven. She is married to Abdillahi Hussein and together have been blessed with a son called Amir.
She went to Kongoni primary school for her primary education then Pangani Girls High School for her secondary education. She later joined Daystar University to pursue journalism.
Jane Ngoiri started her career more than a decade ago as an English news anchor at K24 TV where she also got a chance to anchor Swahili news at the station. She worked there until 2011 when she moved to NTV to anchor Swahili news alongside Nimrod Tabu who moved to Citizen TV in 2019, Jane then anchored the same alongside Salim Swaleh. Jane resigned from the station this year the 28th of January to pursue other personal projects.

While working at the media, she did several investigative pieces which includes "Sisters of Death" and "Nairobi's Bum Enhancers". In December 2020, she was one of the people who received the Head of State Commendation Award by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
