Jackson Makini Ngechu popularly known as CMB Prezzo has resigned from Wiper Party to vie for Kasarani Mp Seat.
In a letter seen by Opera News addressed to Wiper Secretary General the rapper wrote to resign from the party wishing the party and it's leaders all the best in their endeavours.
"I write to inform you of my decision to resign from Wiepr Democractic Party of Kenya under section 14(1)(a) of the political parties act as read with article 38 of the constitution effective today. I wish the party and it's leadership and members all the best in their future endeavours," read the letter.
The rapper had in 2019 contested for Kibra by election through Wiper party ticket.
Other entertainers who have shown interest in different seats in the coming general elections are comedian MC Jessy for South Imenti MP Seat, Radio Presenter Jalango for Langata, Frasha and Gabu from former boy band P-Unit.
