Asadenaki Livingston, his son, relayed the facts.
“A private funeral will be held for family members. Members of the public can still watch the proceedings on ‘theofficialbunnywailer' Facebook and Instagram platforms due to Covid -19 restrictions," Asadenaki stated.
This comes after the legend died on 2nd march of 2021 more than 100 days from the burial day.
Bunny Wailer passed away at the age of 73 due to a stroke.
According to an obituary published in a major newspaper this week, the legend will be buried on June 18 at Dreamland Farm on the boundary of St Thomas and Portland.
His funeral had been postponed due to family feuds over his wealth and a mountain of unpaid hospital bills.
His family, on the other hand, has ruled out family feuds as a reason for the icon's delayed burial.
Leading singers Chronixx, Popcaan, and Asadenaki have already paid respect to the departed Reggae Legend, following in his father's footsteps.
Go well legend we will miss you.
