Kenyans Make Fun of KBC After Making This Huge Mistake During Their Rebranding

Kenyans have made fun of Kenya Broadcasting Channel, KBC after they made a huge mistake during the launch of the new outlook of their station during prime news time. KBC today introduced a group of talented news anchors who are expected to give the longest serving TV channel in Kenya a lease of fresh air.

The station introduced legendary news anchor, Catherine Kasavuli and beautiful Shiksha Arora who are some of the new anchors set to take the Kenyan media station by storm. The Government owned TV station has always been accused of failing to adjust to current technological demands like other private TV stations.

During the launch of their Prime time news, the media station quoted "#" as "HARSH TAG" which has raised a lot of eyebrows. The sign is normally used to refer to a trending topic in tweeter and is normally written as "#" and not in words like KBC has done.

Popular Star Newspaper journalist, Oliver Mathenge made fun of the station for writing the "#" symbol in words;

@Oliver Mathenge Someone decided to call it harsh tag! 🤣🤣 https://t.co/M98CrXxrPI

Kenyans have also made fun of KBC for the huge mistake ok the following ways;

@shorgiedak It seems someone isn't ready for the re-launch

@Oliat54 5 people succumbs to the disease is grammatically wrong.

@MashRineo KBC will never miss an opportunity to disappoint 😆

@ChrispineWere Taking laziness to a whole new branding level.

@Earlife Yani their equipment are so old the # button ya computer haifanyi

@fwelloh Huto tu blunder. They are what makes KBC authentic.

@stevemtua It's harsh to the staff seeing new jungles taking over what they built with all their efforts. That someone is very right btw. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

@zecsmungai Or it was done intentionally to have people talk more about KBC

@fm_kalawa @OliverMathenge Seems all retired people were recalled, including the 1996 social media team. #ThisIsKBC is lit.
