If you frequently visit social media pages you must have come across Akothe at some point. She is a social media influencer and a renown bongo musician who has moved from grass to fame through hard work and determination.
Some minutes ago she posted a tbt photo on her Facebook official page talking about her old friend she met in 2007 around Mombasa. According to her, she said she can't understand why women can't keep friendship simple saying she met the lady somewhere in Mombasa around 2007and they had one thing in common.
Both were single mothers with three kids each and they liked jokes and shared their moment. She remembered how they used to dance for for Maranda band where they would be the last to arrive in Tembo disco and be the last ones to leave the floor while ladies who thought they were too old for having kids used to gossip about them.
She concluded by asking where the ladies who used to laugh at the with their white men and pockets full of money are today.
