Reason why Lupita Nyong’o is promoting Tanzania’s tourism instead of Kenyan tourism

Lupita Nyong’o, the daughter to former Kenyan health minister and the current governor of Kisumu County has had it rough from Kenyans from her recent poster. The one time Oscar’s winner is known for putting Kenya on the map.

Kenyans have for long admired the actor but the admiration is fading slowly by the rise of each single day. Her tribulations with Kenyans started when Britain actor and modelling star Naomi Campbell bagged the nomination as the ambassador for Magical Kenya, the body responsible for marketing Kenyan tourism.

By the nature of the nomination, she bared the mantle of promoting Kenyan tourism through her international celebrity status. Kenya’s tourism minister, Najib Balala reached the decision of appointing Naomi Campbell terming the inaccessibility of Lupita Nyong’o.

Lupita came out to refute this allegation through her social media something that did not down well with Kenyans. This is because of the way she expressed herself in a way that seemed to mock Kenyans.

A poster of Lupita has now been trending across social media. In the poster, Lupita was promoting Tanzania’s tourism. In this latest move, she seems to have figured out how to retaliate against her country and promoting Kenya’s neighboring country, Tanzania.

The poster had her picture while walking in the plains of Serengeti in Tanzania. The poster also had the logo of Tanzania’s tourism marketing board, ‘Hifadhi Za Taifa Tanzania National Parks.’ The poster had the caption, “Lupita Nyong’o, a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star, walking majestically in the plains of Serengeti in Tanzania.”
