Pastor James Maina Nga'ng'a of Neno Evangelist Ministries has suffered a major blow following the recent directive by Communications Authority of Kenya (CAK).

In a press release on Saturday 4, December, the authority suspended Nganga's SASA TV from airing live programs for the next six months.
He was further directed to hire qualified journalists who are accredited by the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) who are in a position to utilize filter systems to ensure the station airs clean content.

The man of God was given six months to adhere to the changes or have his broadcasting license revoked by the authority.
The directives were arrived at following Nga'nga's remarks on 3rd October 2021 which the authority claims violated the rules provided by Kenya Information and Communications Act 1998.

Pastor Nga'ng'a had earlier on brushed off the allegations claiming that the allegations lack basis and are only aimed at bringing him down.
