Last week, rumours emerged that Sonnie and Mulamwa were not on good terms and had broken up, this is after Sonnie unfollowed the funnyman on Instagram.
Asked about their possible break-up, Mulamwa declined to speak about the matter but promised to indulge in the issue at a later date.
Just before Mulamwa officially came out to talk about what is going on between him and his baby mama, Sonnie has taken the lead to confirm their break up.
Sonnie revealed that they are no longer together after they both agreed to part ways ” for reasons best known to us”.
In her statement, she thanked Mulamwa for being part of her life for the last four years noting that she will forever treasure the memories they made together. Sonnie asked Mulamwa to keep winning in his next life without her.
“This is to make it clear that Mulamwa and I are no longer together. We have both agreed and decided to part ways for reasons best known to us. Thank you so much for the love and support you gave us for those 4years, I personally don’t take it for granted.
“To Mulamwa, Thank you so much for letting me be part of your life for that year I appreciate sana and I’ll forever treasure the memories. In your next step in life, I wish you nothing but the best. Keep winning and God bless every step of your life,” Sonnie said.
She also thanked her fans for supporting her and her baby daddy for the last few years they have been together.
Sonnie, however, told her fans that her breakup with Mulamwa would not hinder her from producing online content which she used to do while still in a relationship with the comedian.
“As I continue with this journey, allow me to be gracing your phones with amazing contents and I know for sure mtapenda. Kuvunjika kwa mwiko sio mwisho wa kupika ugali so we MOVE FORWARD and pray for a better tomorrow . Keep supporting and showing love. Kazi izidii,” she added
