Netizens alongside top vocal Tanzanian activists have flooded online with their reactions moments after the African Music Awarding group known as BET Awards recognized Diamond Platnumz as their today's MCM alongside other nominees for the top awards.
This just a few days after having made major efforts through various means including filing a petition to ensure that the musician gets disqualified from the competition.
To his Music fans who have been delighted with his top nomination and recognition, this online post by BET Awards has come somehow as a response to those who have been fighting to take the award-winning musician down.
However, to those activists and some of the Tanzanians who have been very rough on him, this has not served them well especially after having campaigned hard to a point of filing a petition which has already garnered over 17,000 signatures.
Some have even gone ahead to threaten of coming up with another different plan like creating a bad relationship between him and his sponsors like Pepsi just to ensure Diamond Platnumz goes down with his fame.
