"A lot of good artists are always under appreciated thus messing up their morale to give us good music, men have dominated the industry and are always feeling like they own the game." Teslah went live on her Instagram and said this.
While putting out this very controversial statement, she went on to add that she is the best in the game because her music catalog speaks for itself. Tesla is identified as the Talanta Mtaani season one winner who became a judge on the show. She later got signed under Black Market Records Africa last year and has done a number of successful tracks under the label.
While still conducting the live video she added, "I am not beefing anyone, all I want is the industry to grow and female artists to be given the credits they deserve."
Music critics have challenged her statement saying that it was too controversial and she is probably clout chasing but Teslah assured her fans that she is a stand up artist and doesn't do anything for public attention. Her music is great and identifies her.
She has a video coming out soon titled "Down For You." Check out her live performance as you anticipate the official video.
