After a story of two abandoned siblings went viral on social media and also highlighted on local media stations.The two girls, Joyce Wanjiku and Lucy Njoki explained how their parents disowned them at a very tender age after their domestic disagreement which led to separation.“Our mother went with one of our siblings-she was the youngest- and left us in the hands of our father. One morning, our father burnt all our belongings including our clothes and books and chased us from home,” Lucy narrated.The two young kids moved to live with their aunt who chased them away after two days. They decided to be living in an abandoned house with no doors and windows. “we still wonder why our parents left us.We did not do anything wrong, we have been suffering,” Njoki Added. The duo met with a good Samaritan, Njeri who who has been living with them and aired their story. On Friday 3 Kaneme Radio presenter Man Nyari and Murang'a women Rep. Sabina Chege Visited Njeri's home with foodstuffs and vowed to get to the root cause of the problem. The two well wishers assured the kids a safe place to reside.
