Dj Afro started his career back in his home in Nakuru county. Dj Afro said in an interview with The Churchil show, that he started narrating movies while still in primary, he used to narrate movies for the people who liked movies but couldn't understand the English language in the movies.
Dj Afro is the founder of movie narration in the country, various people have now ventured in the business. Dj Afro recently moved to court to challenge Ezekiel Mutua the moral police's decision of Banning his movies From the market.The DJ moved to court to block the moral police from arresting him and banning his movies in Gikuyu TV,Mzalendo TV and Star Africa TV.
The Moral police Ezekiel Mutua had threatened to arrest the movie narrator for using dirty languages, when narrating his movies, he threatened to arrest the DJ for misleading the younger generation and school going children.
Dj Afro has produced other movie narrators in the industry who are also talented. These DJs include DJ Fish,DJ Afro Junior,DJ Smith, DJ Jackyu and many more.
Apart from narrating movies DJ Afro is also a Radio presenter,an MC and a producer. He owns recording studios and movie shops in Nairobi.
