For Kenyan politics the two and fro throwing of words has been the order of the day. Last week viewers of KTN News we're treated to a heated debate between Jubilee deputy chairman David Murathe and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua. These two Jubilee leaders went head on at each other for their different ideologies when it comes to who they support on the party.
Murathe being on the Kieleweke side suffered through the interview as Rigathi Gachagua openly attacked him for his alter ego and dubious means of how he made his money. Rigathi told Murathe that about 8 years ago he was bankrupt and dead broke that he couldn't even afford ten shillings. Rigathi told Murathe to desist from selling fear to Jubilee leaders who were elected by citizens yet he isn't even an elected leader.
But after a rematch organized by journalist Sofia Wanuna, Murathe came back with hefty punches to the legistlator telling him he wasn't bankrupt as he was selling computers and made Ksh 100M each year. Murathe said that for Rigathi to come on national television and say he was broke was uterly disrespectful. He went on to say he has hustled all the way to where he is today unlike Rigathi Gachagua whose wealth is uncertain.
