The musician, popularly known for his hit song in the 2017 general elections ‘Tano Tena’ criticized the Deputy president for misleading Kenyans as a hustler.
Githae was being interviewed by Citizen TV journalists and when asked whom his shujaa was he said Jomo Kenyatta.
At this point Githae stated that Kenyatta was a real hustler and not like the politician who is currently purporting to be a hustler.
He gave an example of how Kenyatta walked barefoot to Thogoto mission school to learn. In addition, he gave an example with how he struggled and went to Europe and later became the president.
Githae stated that was the real hustler who struggled to become the President.
Githae also revealed that musically, his role model and shujaa is the late legend Joseph Kamaru who natured his musical career.
