Lulu Khadija Hassan is a Kenyan Swahili news anchor and film director who has always made her viewers proud.
Lulu attended the Agha khan Academy in Mombasa and Salrene Travel Operation College. She then started working at a Radio Salaam local radio station where she read english news a course she didn't take went back to school learning journalism and mass communication.
She came to limelight when she passed an interview on KTN and got employed as a swahili news anchor. Lulu later shifted to Citizen tv which under Royal Media Services and nipashe news anchor to co-host Kanze Dena. Here they developed a wonderful co-host ship that made many Kenyans love them.
She was joined by her husband Rashid Abdalla who had shifted from Ntv to replace Kanze Dena who was appointed as the spokesman at the office of the President. Together they also have a segment which is aired every Saturday called Mawaidha ya Bi Mswafari that talks about family matters. They also have a show that is aired from Monday to Friday called Maria which is viewed by millions of Kenyans.
Lulu has become a role model to many ladies especially with her dress code she has during the news reading. She always look perfect in a way she does not let her viewers down. Like other women, she is married to Rashid Abdalla and blessed with 3 kids.
