Kenya's rapper Stevo Simpleboy is one of the upcoming artists who is growing very fast. His unique style of music had made him stand out. Stevo has mastered a unique style of using the local slag which has a very huge fan base.
Raised and bread in Kibera, you won't go wrong to say that his best language is sheng. Recently Stevo used some sheng words during a interview and since then, the words have become a household words with both young and old being exited using them.
Some of the notable words Stevo has come up with include 'freshi barida', Niko shegaa, sina ngwere and others. Yesterday, Stevo become a world star after Italian giant AS Roma used his Slag 'Freshi barida' to celebrate their win against Feyenoord. The Jose Mourinho side trashed their opponents 1-0 clinching the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy.
Through their Twitter, the Italian giants posted 'Mko Freshi barida' tag that was invented by Stevo Simpleboy. Kenyans have since reacted to the post with many saying that Stevo is indeed going far.
