The seasoned presenter, Shaffie Weru opens up about the Homeboyz scandal that rendered him unemployed. He revealed that he had worked for the Radio Africa Group for over 18 years. He shared lessons learnt from the whole Homeboyz debacle, that occurred on 25/03/2021.
He confessed that he had learnt to be more thoughtful of the victim. He explained that normally, people are so fast to post when someone dies without considering the emotions of the deceased family member. He cautioned people to be cautious when posting greasly pictures of victims.
When asked whether he was remorseful he answered, "Remorseful for what? I'm still trying to rich the victims family to apologize directly despite my public apology."
Shaffie openly confessed that he was willing to do better. His parting shot was that he respects women and that his religion demands men to respect and obey women.
"I respect women but I'm not afraid of Them' Shaffie boldly concluded.
