The Nairobi Legal Awards went down last night where the judge of the year was feted as per the reports that we have with us from The Judiciary.

The Nairobi Legal Awards look to recognize the efforts of the judges across the country who have excelled in the field as they go about their duties.
This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have received from The Judiciary, the best judge of the year has been recognized by the panel.
According to the available reports that we have, the best judge went to Lady Justice Lydia Achode, who is from the Court of Appeal.
Lady Justice Lydia Achode a judge at the Court of Appeal was the best judge across the country in the Judiciary.
Lady Justice Mugure Thande came in second while Lady Justice Maureen Odero came in third as per the reports that we have with us.
The best Judicial officers were also recognized with the best being Hon Lucas Onyino who works as the Chief Magistrate at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Law Courts.
We extend our hearty congratulations to the winners from The Judiciary who are serving Kenyans excellently.
