Reggae Lovers In Mourning After A Reggae Legend Breathes His Last

The last surviving founding member of the reggae music band The Wailers, Bunny Wailer is dead.Reports say that the legend died in the morning of 2nd March at Medical Associates Hospital, Kingston, at the age of 73. His manager confirmed his death; "Yes. He died about 8:00 this morning. I'm still right here with him."

The musician was among the founders of The Wailers, a well known band. He went on and rose to international fame together with Bob Marley.

He didn't stop there. His fame kept going and eventually he won three Grammy Awards. He was also given Jamaica's Order of Merit in 2017.

Apart from his manager Maxine Stowe, his death was also confirmed by Jamaica's Minister for Culture Olivia Grange. His real cause of death isn't known yet, but he'd been down with stroke since July 2020. He had been admitted ever since.

The star's real name was Neville O'Riley Livingston.The Wailer members were Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, both of whom are deceased.
