Kenyan actress Winnie Bwire Ndubi who is well known for her role as Dida in the popular citizen tv drama Sultana has opened up that she has been battling cancer.
This being the month of breast cancer awareness, Dida has for the first time talked about her fight from the deadly disease cancer.
She posted a picture being bald as this is some of the main side effects of cancer, mostly people loss their hair because of chemotherapy.
She thanked those who walked with her through the tough journey, especially her close family and friend. She mostly thanked her husband who is also a well known actor Dan Sonko.
She encouraged people to continue going for screening even when the October month is over as this will help detect the disease earlier.
