The people of Matundura in Nyandarua county on Tuesday bid farewell Gibson Mbugua who was popularly known as 'The Prosecutor. Gibson, Kiongozi Wa Mashtaka was Laid to Rest in Emotional Ceremony in Nyandarua that was attended by a host of thespians, mostly those from the legendary TV show.
Among those who attended the burial was Ondieki Nyuka Kuota who could not hide his tears as he bid farewell to his longest friend. Prosecutor was among the longest-serving actors on arguably Kenya's oldest comedy show, and played alongside industry greats like Mzee Ojwang, Mama Kayai, and Ondiek Nyukaquota.
The acclaimed actor breathed his last on Thursday, December 22, morning after a protracted kidney problem. Prosecutor died just one month after receiving a kidney transplant in the hope that he would recover from the condition once and for all.
