Self proclaimed chairman of gospel music Ringtone Alex Apoko has announced turning into the other world of music and entertainment.
Ringtone Apoko has said that he will be joining the likes of Otile Brown, Sanaipei Tande and Diamond Platinumz in the secular side.
Through a video shared on Instagram, the twenty eight year old thanked everyone who supported him in the gospel music industry.
In unexpected turn of events, the lavish musician had posted yesterday that he will be revealing the reason for the new challenge.
Ringtone is well aware of the competition in the secular music industry and has asked his fans to continue with the support they offered.
"Bye-bye Gospel music. Imefika mwisho," musician Ringtone quits Gospel music.
"Nimeamua nianze kuimba malove songs. Wale wasanii ambao wanaimba malove songs, msinione kama competition," Ringtone added.
He now joins Bahati and Willy Paul in the list of musicians who have ditched gospel for other ventures.
