Controversial media personality, Andrew Kibe alias KibeAndy posted a poster for an event by the name "Kibe's Master Class" which is set to be conducted through Zoom Meeting. The poster read that for one to attend the meeting, one must pay a non-refundable fee of Ksh. 1250.
The event has raised concerns among different people on social media each giving his opinion. Some saying that the high profile
media personality is using his fame to exploit his die-hard fans.
"Andrew Kibe wants us to pay 1250 for content that's free on the TL on Saturday. " one tweep argued.
Others have also defended him(Andrew Kibe) saying that him holding the online event is a form of hustle and that we should support one of our own.
The event is set to happen on 21st May 2021. The poster also states that the meeting will have main agendas to be discussed. Some of them are;
1.Why men have to become selfish
2.Good guys finish last
3.What else after sex
From the the poster one can tell that Andrew Kibe's target audience is mainly men who are above 18years of age.
Andrew Kibe quit his job at Kiss FM on grounds that he was being censored on the content he could put on radio. Together with famous radio presenter Kamene Goro, Andrew Kibe ran a show by the name Morning Segment on Kiss FM. The breakfast show enjoyed a huge number of listeners(over 716,000) and was ranked sixth overall in the country and the second most popular English show after Classic FM's Maina and King'ang'i. Andrew Kibe now owns an Online radio by the name Rogue Radio.
It is my greatest hope as a writer that the online event will be a success.
