Facebook Vows To Take Action On Online Bullies

Facebook Vows To Take Action On Online bullies.

For those who don't know about Lizzo, she is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper. Last week the energetic rapper disclosed she was emotionally disturbed by some very harsh comments being sent to her social media pages.

Days after the release of her single with Cardi B the Grammy award-winning artist broke down in tears claiming some unappreciative individuals were harassing her through social media.

She revealed most of them were targeting her body and pleaded with them to stop and reciprocate the love she was showing them since it was affecting her mentally. A week later Facebook has heard her pleas and has promised to take action.

Facebook has confirmed it will delete accounts of any individuals involved in online bullying and ban them from participating in their social media platforms. The social media company also said they are already tracking and deleting harassment messages sent to the singer.

Everyone has been encouraged to be considerate about other people’s feelings before trying to intimidate them.
