Actress Celestine Gachuhi is elated after she was nominated for best female movie and film star, by the East Africa Arts(EAEA) and Entertainment Awards. She has posted the news on her Instagram page, barely 3 days after the EAEA confirmed her as a nominee.
She is better known as Selina from the role she played in the Selina film that was being aired on Maisha Magic East. She is a talented lady who has shown her prowess in the entertainment industry overly. Through the post, Selina urged her fans to vote for her.
In the nomination list, other Kenyan celebrities had done a great job through inspiration and Empowerment. Those appearing included, Jalang'o for Best event host/MC, Trio Mio for best Kenya hit song, Betty Kyallo for female celebrity youth icon, Khaligraph Jones, Nadia Mukami, Ali Hassan Joho for Male celebrity youth icon, Willy Paul for best hit album and few others.
The EAEA management also released a letter, about the extension of the voting period. The period was extended to 29 July 2022 from the initial deadline of 30 June 2022. The decision arrived after raised concerns, that some nominees were advantaged because they had received their nominations flyers earlier than others.
