Possible break up? DJ Creme Dela Creme cryptic message leaves netizens talking

Celebrated deejay George Njuguna, popularly known as DJ Crème de la Crème on Wednesday, July 28 caused an uncertainty on social media after posting a cryptic message hinting at a possible break up with his wife.

Taking to his Instagram account, the DJ shared a quote which read,

“Marriage is a scam. Don’t let anyone lie to you,”

After an hour the disc jokey shared a black and white photo of himself and accompanied it with a caption noting that he would be alright.

 “Imma Be Aight.” He wrote.

Later on, his wife and the mother of his two children shared a message on her Instagram story saying,

"God is within her she will not fall.

The love birds got engaged three months ago after 14 years of staying together.

Creme was a happy man after going down on one knee and confidently shoot the question and Denise said a big Yes.

On his Instagram account, he posted a picture of Denise hand showcasing the engagement ring and disclosed that he wishes to live with her forever.

“It took me 14 years. 14 long years to ask my best friend, my confidant, mother to my kids, my forever person to marry me? I know I’ve stressed you out so many times, but my heart and all I got belongs to you. I wanna love you forever,” wrote the deejay.

The couple have faced lots of challenges in the relationship as in 2018 Denise miscarriaged six-month-old pregnancy after an emergency rush to the hospital.

"With a few hours to my gig, we spent most of the time on video calls and I swear, Denise is the strongest woman I know telling me that she’ll be alright and that she could handle it and I should keep my head up and grind. The procedure to remove the baby was slotted for midnight, the same time I was getting on stage in Qatar. Not sure how I made it through the gig but God’s grace and Peace steered me through,” he said.

Adding; “I didn’t get to see our daughter, whom Denise says looked so beautiful and peaceful. She managed to trace her handprints on a piece of paper..the only thing we’d keep with us in memory of a beautiful soul whom we never got to know but who made us smile every time she kicked. It still breaks our hearts every time Jamari and our daughter Zawadi ask where the baby went.”

In 2020, the couple relocated from Nairobi to Kericho after the Covid-19 pandemic affected the country and especially his career.

He noted that it was the hardest decision to make to him and even Denise as he stayed in Nairobi for over 17 years.

“My wife couldn’t believe we were actually moving, but this was important if we were to manage life through the hard times. We had to swallow our pride, even as everyone wondered how I, arguably Kenya’s best deejay, would move back to what you would call village life. I knew this was the only way out and explained to my wife that we would start all over again,” said Dj Crème.
