Kenyans reacted when a well-known Citizen TV reporter went to find out why its ratings are different from those of other media outlets. Reports say that Citizen TV news anchor Yvonne Okwara Matole had to explain to viewers why the numbers they updated about presidential candidates are different from what KTN, NTV, and KBC are reporting.
Yvonne Okwara has come forward and said why things are going wrong. She said that every news outlet keeps track of the presidential candidates in their own way.
She went on to say that they are taking forms from the public portal and writing down the numbers on those forms. She said that if Citizen's TV numbers are different from those of other media outlets, it's because different places count at different speeds. Kenyans were told to stay calm and keep the peace.
