Today the nation was sent into mourning mode after the death of super-fan Isaac Juma was announced. The Harambee Stars, AFC Leopards diehard fan was found death after he was allegedly attacked by an assailant at his home in Mumias, Kakamega County. According to detectives handling the matter, preliminary investigations have revealed that Isaac might have been killed over a land dispute in his area.
Juma, who had been living in Nakuru for decades had moved back to his rural home a few years ago, according to sources, to secure the parcel of land he felt his aggressors wanted to snatch away from him.
After the dead murder was reported, the DCI commandos swung into action to bring the perpetrator into books. It has now been confirmed that the killer has finally been arrested. This information was shared by the DCI through their official Twitter account were they reported that Milton Namatsi, 27, was allegedly behind the murder."All this happened because of land, there have been fights with some of his siblings who wanted him to sell them a piece of it but he refused. They had initially been beaten him up and he reported the matter to the police. The culprits were arrested but later released. Before his death, he was threatened again and reported the same, but no action had been taken." said the wife of the late Isaac.
With this news, the family of the late Isaac are hopeful that justice will finally be served and that the law will take its course and bring the killer before the court of law.
