Top female radio host, Joyce Gituro has left her followers talking after she revealed on what she went through in her marriage, prompting her to walk away and decide never to get married again.
Joyce narrated her story to freelance journalist, Monica Kagoni where revealed that she started her career as an actor. She got married to her long time friend, a marriage that lasted for 12 years. In their marriage, Joyce was blessed with two children.
Despite the fact that her husband was loving, caring, supportive and God fearing, they parted ways on basis of their relation with the church which Joyce was questioning. Her husband would come home late claiming that he was attending prayers in the church.
Things got worse when her husband took some money from the house that had been set aside for their children school fees and bought a television set for the pastor worth Kshs. 27,000. Joyce also came to learn that after trusting her husband in buying family cars, he instead hired them to a point that he started having criminal cases with the police.
Her husband had also indulged into heavy borrowing which made their life worse. At a point, all their cars were taken on basis of non compliance on payments since they were hired. Later, her husband relocated from the house and switched off his phone. Joyce tried to reach him to no avail. She therefore decided to live alone with the kids and never to get married again.
