Mark Masai who is a prime time news presenter at NTV has been sent home. The media group seems to be facing the hard economic times hence cutting down on expenses by sacking highly paid anchors to cut on cost.
The father of two has worked at NTV for 14 years. He went on to his social media to announce his exit through a short video of himself since when he started working at the station in 2008.
He went on to post an encouraging message and to let his fans know that he will not quit media and that he will be back bigger and better. “This is the reality of the media landscape around the world and unfortunately I was at the losing end of this one. However, this is not the end of my career in the media, I will be back on other platforms. All I have to say is watch this space,” said Masai.
We hope he is back to our screens soon. Share your thoughts with me in the comments section.
