
Singer and songwriter Kevin Bahati better known simply as Bahati has been allegedly told by the Azimio La Umoja coalition to step aside for another aspirant in the same Mathare member of Parliament race.
The singer has been removed from his member of parliament bid and the Azimio coalition has settled on Anthony Alouch, who is representing ODM party.
ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna revealed that Anthony Aluoch was their preferred candidate for August 9th elections and that Kevin Bahati will step aside during a meeting between ODM and Jubilee.
Former Nairobi Women Representative Rachael Shebesh also asked Bahati to work with the larger government asking to copy from what Tim Wanyonyi did and stepped down for polycap Igathe for the Nairobi governor race.
Bahati however has however told his fans to ignore the propaganda and should wait for official communication regarding the matter.
