Over the weekend, legendary musician from Tanzania Rose Muhando held a fundraiser event in Kenya. The event which raised eyebrows due to the fact that its entrance fee was a whopping 50,000 Kenya shillings, failed to attract a huge following. Only a handful of close allies to the musician attended the event.

Close to forty eight hours after the event, Rose Muhando is yet to issue a statement about the event. Whether it met its intended purpose is what Kenyans await to hear from her. Courtesy dictates that once an event is over, you take to social media and thank your fans, something that Rose has not yet done.
Her latest update on Instagram is when she met fellow artiste from Tanzania Dogo Janja. The event whose main aim was to build a sanctuary in Tanzania, was held in one of Kenya’s high end restaurants Villarosa Kempinski over the weekend.
