Every action taken has its own consequences. Macho Makali who claimed that Si huchanga by Mavo on the Beat featuring Trio Mio, Mzazi Willy M Tuva and Reckless was remixed from his song 'Changa' faces harsh legal action from the label. The CEO of Black Market Records Africa took the matter to court together with Mavo on the beat to call out on justice. For Macho Makali this was probably just a game of clout chasing but for this business associates, every penny counts.
Two weeks ago Mavo took to Instagram to share his progress on the matter at hand and assured his fans that they would take legal action against the perpetrator.
"This is a lesson to every upcoming artist who has ill motives and takes artists' work for granted. I hope that from this action taken other artists can learn that it is not okay to tarnish someone's name and work." Said the CEO of Black Market Records Africa Cedric Singleton.
The good news is that the song is back on YouTube for you to listen and watch. It is also available on all music platforms.
