Taking to her instagram page, actress Catherine Kamau Karanja popularly known as Kate Actress, has said that her and her husband now do have three photos together. On the instagram post, Kate has posted a photo that she is with her husband, Philip Karanja. "Him: yaani zile breakfast za 6a.m zilikuwa PR. Me: na wewe hukuniambia humeangi nywele hapo mbele 🤷," she wrote as a caption of the post.

Kate and Phil got married back in 2017, after being in a relationship for several years. The two started dating when Kate was in the local show, Mother-in-law, where she played the character 'Selina'. Phil aslo used to be an actor, he played the character 'Melvin' in the student local show, Tahidi High. Both Tahidi High and Mother-in-law used to air on Citizen Tv.

These couple was blessed with a daughter at the end of 2019. Although Kate has a son out of wedlock, whom she had while she was in hee teenager life. Phil took him as his son, and they are a family now. Phil is one of the best movie and show directors in Kenya. The two have also work together to promote Kate's youtube channel with content.
