Popular Kenyan rapper Octopizzo, otherwise known as "Its Namba Nane," has dropped another jam. The song is called Ringa, and it's available on all music platforms including YouTube, Deezer and Boomplay. The so-called king of Kenyan hip-hop has elicited praise from majority of his Kenyan fans both locally and internationally.
The song had more than 21k views on YouTube after only 12 hours on the platform. It's music video had been praised as being distinct, unique and utterly beautiful. As is the norm with Octo, his music videos never fail to bring out the authenticity and uniqueness of his songs.
The video is set in what looks like an American environment and captures the viewers eyes with its quality visuals, serene background and Octopizzo's cool fashion statement. Not to forget his punchlines and great lyrics. It's not doubt that the song is already trending.
Octo's fanbase took to social media to praise and hail his musical prowess and quality works in the industry. One particular person to pick out Octopizzo is the former IEBC commissioner, Dr. Roselyn Akombe, who said that the song "auto repeats in your head."
Octopizzo, his real name Henry Ohanga, was born and raised in the Kibera slums of Nairobi. He's rose through music and is considered one of the modern promoters of Kenyan hip-hop alongside the likes of Khaligraph Jones and Nyashinski. He has been hailed for setting the bar high and creating a goal for upcoming artistes to reach. He currently spends a considerable amount of time abroad promoting his music and creating some more.
