Kevin Kinuthia who a social media influencer and a brand ambassador narrates about his challenges as a crossdresser and how people treat him in public.
Kinuthia had made a name for himself in the entertainment industry by crossdressing into a woman. The social media influencer said that the new venture of content creation has changed his life completely.
Speaking to YouTuber Diana Marua he said that his family supports him completely especially his mother who has been his biggest fan. Kinuthia said that he was scared when he first started his career because he knew that he would face alot of backlash from people who didn't like his content.
He said that his family motivated him to follow his dreams and he is glad he made the right choice. As a young and growing content creator he stated that he faces alot of negative attitude from people who dislike him.
He said that on may occasions he is oftenly stopped from using male washrooms by people who confuse his gendef while others do it with the intention of being rude.
"Some male taxi drivers refuse to carry me and it is just rude." Kinuthia said.
Regardless of these challenges his career has given him a chance to explore his talent and boost his self esteem. He said that sixty percent of her followers send him positive remarks and for him that is satisfying.
According to him he believes there is a huge platform for young people to explore on social media. He has encouraged the youth to engage in content creation and make a name for themselves.
