Police in Kampala Uganda are holding a woman for allegedly killing her boyfriend after suspecting he is the one who infected her with HIV/AIDS. Loyce Mbaine a receptionist at 92.2 B-FM is believed to have resulted to killing his boyfriend after preliminary results indicated that she was infected with the disease.
Allan Mandela the deceased boyfriend was a sports anchor at Hunters FM which airs on 105.0 FM in Kampala Uganda. Loyce and Allan are believed to have been in a relationship for close to three years and all was well until doctors revealed to Loyce Mbaine that she had contracted the virus.
Police who are still investigating the incidence have confirmed that indeed the radio presenter succumbed to injuries from a sharp object that penetrated through his body. Loyce who looked confused at the police station has shocked many Ugandans after admitting that indeed she took the action after testing positive.
