The 21 year old started playing Rabab aged 15. He then later learnt how to play guitar and it increased his love for Rabab. Rabab is a flute like instrument. His playing skills has over time attracted the youth around the globe. His social media views are in millions.
While speaking to ANI media, Manzoor said he had to create a platform for himself and that is how he chose social media.
Revealing the secrets to his success, he said that the instrument being harder than the guitar needs to be tuned according to the raag of the song that one wants to play. He encouraged the youth to turn to music and sport instead of drugs.
As any other artiste, he was affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. The projects he was to perform at had to be pushed forward.
Rabab originated from Afghanistan where it is the national instrument, it found its way to India and was adopted by Kashmiris. Its existence is however threatened because of its difficulty to play.
