The most hyped show all over social media which has left many East African's waiting is on the way to air as Eric Omondi confirms the show will premier on the 17th of May 2021.
Eric Omondi went to his Instagram page and captioned as we anticipate and prepare the return of #WifeMaterial2 which was to air this week but due to Ramadhan, it was pushed to May 17th, 2021.
He continues to explain how Kenyan comedy came to be from back then with the entertainment scene being brought to the limelight by the likes of Mzee Ojwang for comedy and Daudi Kabaka for music.
He justifies the saying that if you don't grow you die and in the same stature our industry must grow to survive this highly competitive era of digital online content.
Eric decides to narrate how he began his career at Churchill live in the year 2008 and he must admit the scene was different. He could easily get recognized by throwing a simple Luhya joke and that would be so funny.
Times have changed and he realized if he does not move, again his career will die. For sure Eric Omondi is here and it has been 13 years since he breaker through in the industry. He explains how in the day today he is tasked with the responsibility of entertaining his countrymen, Kenya while seeking not only to compete with the rest of the continent but to conquer it.
He adds that we must get to California and raise the East African flag in Hollywood and #WifeMaterial is just but the beginning of this long journey, so help us, God.
Beautiful insights from Eric Omondi, what do you think about this move?
