Barrack Obama has eulogized his late grandmother who passed away on Monday morning. Mama Sarah passed while receiving treatment at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga hospital. The 44th US president has eulogized her as matriarch in the family. Obama has given a brief history of the birth of her grandmum. He first noted her birthplace Alego and how poverty stricken it was then. Obama has went on to show her resiliently she raised 8 children among them his father. It is worth noting as Barack has said, Obama Snr was Mama Sarah's stepson.Detailing about his first journey to Kenya, Obama has explained how instrumental she was in helping him find his roots.

Though Obama is mourning, he has expressed gratitude for the time and memories they have shared together. Mama Sarah is set to be buried tommorow in line with Muslim customs at her home.
