Celebrated media personality Lulu Hassan has found herself in trouble over a recent statement regarding couples working in the same office. The mother of one came out to advise employers to recruit couples and allow them to work in the same environment. She said this in reflection of her situation where she works alongside her husband Rashid Abdalla at Citizen TV.

Lulu Hassan And Rashid Abdalla have gone down in history as the first Kenyan couple to co-anchor prime time news bulletin. The two worked separately before the Royal Media Service TV station poached Rashid Abdalla from NTV and teamed him up with his wife.

According to Lulu Hassan, there would be a lot of developments if more couples were allowed to work together. She went ahead to claim that working together with her husband has strengthened her marriage, adding that the case will be similar to many other couples.

"We are all humans and sometimes we have disagreements. But I make sure to do away with my anger beef we go on screen because if I were mad at him on air you would notice it. Working together cements the relationship because you have to make sure everything works," Lulu Hassan stated.

Kenyans on social media, however, disagreed with her. They pointed out that just because it has worked for her it does not mean that it will work for other couples. The majority seems to believe that couples working together would create more chaos and even break relationships.

A good number of the netizens criticized the mother of three over her statement.
