Jua Cali revealed the unfortunate news on his Instagram profile. He expressed appreciation to his fans for appreciating, embracing, and relating to his music. The artist went on to say that the decision had been carefully considered. He claimed that he has been unable to perform due to Covid-19. Because of the social distance limits and curfew, this is the case. He expressed gratitude to the music industry for helping him to evolve. He confirmed that it was past time for him to move on and begin a new chapter in his life. He announced that he has been in the music business for the past 20 years.
Fans congratulated him on the new direction he was about to move on. Others said that the musician had been deceiving Kenyans since April Fools' Day.
Other fans expressed their displeasure with the rumors of his impending retirement. Most people said they would miss him. Most of his fans, on the other hand, were open to the possibility of him following a career path other than music.
