
Controversial American rapper and business mogul Kanye West or Ye has finally divorced his celebrity wife Kim Kardashian legally.
The two reached a settlement about their divorce hence averting a trial that was set to start next month. This is according to court documents that were filed on tuesday.
The once a super couple and their lawyers filed documents seeking the judge's approval of the terms they had agreed on about their divorce. Included in the terms, Kanye West agreed he will be paying Kim Kardashian Ksh25 million monthly for child upkeep purposes.
The two have also agreed to have joint custody of their four kids and none will pay the other spousal support. This is according documents filed in Los Angeles superior court.
Ye and Kim started dating back in 2012 and had their first child in 2013 who is currently 9 years old. Kanye proposed to Kim later in 2013 using a giant screen at an empty waterfront ballpark at the San Francisco Giants. They then got married on May 24 2014 in a ceremony at a Renaissance-era fortress in Florence, Italy.
