TV girl Jackie Maribe needs no introduction in the media industry. She is a courageous woman who grabbed the opportunity of becoming a female news reporter a role that is mostly assigned to male journalists. It is not clear when she was born but she celebrates her birthdays on 18th December. She attended State House Girls High School situated in the leafy Nairobi Suburbs and was schoolmates with celebrities like Linet Munyali popularly known as Size 8. She later proceeded to the University of Nairobi where she pursued a degree in Journalism Studies graduating in 2005.

She landed her first job in 2009 at K24 TV where she worked as a senior Political Reporter. She later quit K24 in 2011 to join Kiss TV as a Political Affairs Correspondent, a role she held until October 2012. Shortly after she joined Citizen TV as a Political Affairs Correspondent and it at her time here she made a name for herself.
