Femi One is one brilliant Kenyan hip hop artist born and raised in the lower suburbs of Nairobi, that is Mwiki, before turning to doing music professionally. In her recent Instagram story she admitted being that outright tomboy girl when starting out in the industry just before she was signed in Kaka Empire record label. For the sake of the niche as a result of very few female artists not venturing into the hip hop world, she decided to rebrand herself to gain the national and international acceptance.
At 26 years of age, Femi was already expecting her first child. She revealed this on social media via a self-tape video she captured with some voices congratulating her in the background. Though the news about the father-to-be has not been revealed, King Kaka led thousands of fans to her social accounts congratulating and raising all manner of issues.
One queer confession she has made about herself is that she can hardly leave the house without her lipstick on. I personally think this insecurity owes to her wide lips. At least the lipstick has something to stick on.
Much having been said, today must have been Femi's big day since she was celebrating her 27th birthday. Happy birthday Femi One.
